Link to Cecils wife, Audrey GardnerNotes
by Derek on his elder brother Cecil. Your father never liked the name Cecil. I
don't know why. Mother chose it because of Cecil Myddelton, a kinsman who
was apparently a very admirable young man. I think he was killed in the First
World War...Father's Aunt Caroline Longstaff was married to a Myddelton
and Mother's Aunt Rose Juvet also married a Myddelton. I don't know where
the name Raymond came from. ..MoreHOLT, Cecil Raymond.—A 2 Mar. 1911; s. of Robert Holt, of Hoylake, Cheshire. Educ. Radley Coll.; Merton
