Retirement from the company 1967 and death 1969
We are sorry to record the retirement of Mr. Cecil Holt, a grandson of the founder and second son of Robert 
L. Holt (Chairman of the Company 1917-1947) who has been Chairman of HoIts Sons & Company Ltd. since 1960. The interest in wines and spirits is a comparatively new venture in the history of John Holt and therefore Mr. Cecil Holt's career with the Group has been largely connected with departments of West African Trade
